Congratulations to our clients who were honored in October at the Predict 2022 Conference, held in Alexandria, VA.
Please congratulate our 2022 A2 MVPs. These are the individuals who are very strong users of Acumen – they include our top users in terms of time spent using the platform across the course of the year. More than just power users, MVPs include individuals using Acumen to drive their association forward and helping spread the adoption of analytics throughout their organizations. When it comes to next year’s MVPs, we will also consider individual’s activity in the Acumen community – whether helping one another by asking questions, answering questions, or sharing ideas and best practices. This year’s MVPs received A2 MVP backpacks. For MVPs that get selected again in future years, you’ll be getting gear that is even bigger and better!

Athena Award is presented to an organization with the most innovative use of analytics to help achieve a strategic goal or otherwise drive the success of their organization. The winner of the 2022 Athena Award is Meeting Professionals International. MPI has, in a relatively short time, implemented and leveraged Acumen Core as well as our Community, Marketing, and Learning modules. In addition, they leveraged their model to build out custom departmental sales and performance dashboards and forecasts.
Ah Ha Award is presented to organizations that have used Acumen to discover something previously not understood within their organization and then taken an action based on that insight. Our 2022 Ah Ha Award winner, American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology, is the poster child for culture change and data informed decision making. On a recent webinar AANA’s Chief Growth Officer declared that “data fuels their growth engine”. They’ve shared many discoveries related to their members and their events. They recently saved an at-risk event by adjusting the registration process. They also canceled a traditional and expensive add on to their event in favor of learning and networking opportunities preferred by their target demographics.
Heart Award is presented to organizations that uses their data and Acumen to improve the lives of their members or the general public. The winner of the 2022 Heart Award, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, acted fast to address an important but often overlooked aspect of the Covid 19 Pandemic, putting their Acumen Core implementation on hold in favor of building a dashboard for public service. Their National Call to Action, medical guidance, and acumen powered interactive dashboard was praised by their members as well as the press and public.
Squeaky Clean Award is presented to organizations that have embraced data quality and created ongoing processes to keep their data clean. This Acumen client is the very small minority of associations that did NOT consider data quality a barrier to success in Analytics. Their commitment to clean data is as strong as their commitment to Public Education. The Winner of the 2022 Squeaky Clean award is Texas Association of School Business Officials.
The Parliament Award goes to the best TEAM adoption of data analytics. Nominations include associations that have successfully advanced the adoption of Acumen beyond the core team involved in the launch. This year’s winning organization has all the right moves when it comes to adoption across the organization including senior executives. Acumen has become a key part of how they work. The Winner of the 2022 Parliament Award is the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association.
Big Ideas Award is presented to the most innovative or helpful product feature request that was subsequently built in Acumen. This association has been serving up big ideas for years. As an early adopter of analytics, they used their abstract submittals as a leading indicator of meeting attendance and to inform content. Their insights and guidance led to the development and launch of Acumen Abstracts and Awards. The 2022 Winner of the Big Ideas Award is the Society for Neuroscience.
Partner of the Year Award is presented to business partners that look for opportunities to help clients understand the value of implementing Acumen and help drive successful implementations and widespread adoption of analytics. This partner was a leading source of Acumen referrals in addition to providing a necessary and complementary service that made life easier for many Acumen customers. Congratulations to our 2022 Partner of the Year winner, Association Technologies.
The Hoot Award goes to individuals who are the best advocate for analytics and Acumen -- actively speaking at conferences, doing countless reference calls, case studies and promoting analytics across their specific industries and more broadly within the association community.
